Secondary science education refers to science education that takes place in secondary schools. It is in high schools that students begin to take more specialized courses in biology, chemistry, and physics. This is the level of science education that occurs just before the college level.
At the senior secondary school level, science is taught as chemistry, biology and physics, etc but students are not expected to offer all of them. Expectedly, the teaching of science has evolved from teaching science as a product, to teaching it as a process.
